The system
The platform provides the transport corporation's management with a portal to monitor every detail of their fleet of heavy vehicles.
Managers are able to load a map that displays the position and speed of the fleet of their heavy vehicles. Any vehicle can be visually selected to view its assigned driver, speed, history of their route, time since driver's last break and any damage the driver has reported on the vehicle. The platform also provides a dedicated mobile app that each driver loads on their phone - to warn of approaching/overdue breaks, track damage reports and more.
The customer rated our bespoke software as the leading solution in Australia and then proceeded to engage us for another project to white-label it and sell it to other competitors of theirs.
What we built
A web portal with a registry of every vehicle in their fleet.
A maintenance schedule and repair history, tracked per vehicle, to manage rotation of maintenance.
A visual map of Australia, illustrating the position of all their vehicles. Map can be zoomed to view precise positions, route taken, current speed and more.
Lots of custom features provided, including playback of a route, highlight of locations where speeding was detected, driver fatigue warnings and more.
Mobile app for each driver's phone - monitoring complex break shifts and warning of overdue breaks.
Mobile app also allows drivers to report vehicle damage, submitting accompanying photos.
Portal provides extensive reporting, dashboards, user and role management, preferences, and much more.
