Who we are

Apexsoft is a trading name of Next Evolution Pty Ltd atf Buttigieg Family Trust, ABN 78 145 496 204, registered in Australia. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that entity. This policy covers this website and the enquiries you send through it.

We operate in Australia. You can reach us at sales@apexsoft.com.au, or about anything on this page at the address in the complaints section below.

What we collect, and when

We collect personal information in one place on this site: the enquiry form. Nothing else on the site asks you for information, and there is no account to create, no login and no newsletter.

When you send an enquiry we receive:

your name and email address, which we require in order to reply;
your company name and phone number, if you choose to give them — both are optional;
the kind of system you are asking about, if you choose one;
whatever you write in the description of what you are trying to build.

Our web host also records ordinary server information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for.

What we do with it

We use what you send us to reply to you and to discuss the project you described. That is the only purpose.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list. We will disclose information only where we are required to by law, or to the service providers described in the next section, who process it on our behalf.

Where it is stored and who processes it

An enquiry is submitted to a function running in Amazon Web Services in the Asia Pacific (Sydney) region, which emails it to us. The email is then held in our business mailbox. Amazon Web Services and our email provider process this information on our behalf; both may hold it on infrastructure outside Australia in the ordinary course of running those services.

Cookies and advertising

This website sets no cookies of its own, and stores nothing in your browser.

We run advertising on Google. Pages you reach by clicking one of our ads — and only those pages — load Google's advertising tag, so that we can tell how many enquiries our advertising produces. It records the identifier Google attaches to the ad click and may set cookies in your browser under Google's own terms. No page on the rest of this site loads it, and we do not run any other analytics or tracking anywhere on the site.

Every page loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful to the conversation they started, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our business records and to meet our legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete yours earlier.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond. We may need to confirm who you are first, so that we do not disclose your information to somebody else.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us and we will look into it and reply. If you are not satisfied with how we resolve it, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles your information, we will change this page to match it.
